The KPIs module aims to actively involve students, teachers, and administrators in enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ) and energy efficiency within school environments. It offers real-time insights into IAQ and energy consumption while emphasising the development, implementation, and visualisation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Users gain access to real-time data, historical trends, and benchmarking against other schools, facilitated by a user-friendly platform designed to engage diverse stakeholders. Different user types will have tailored permissions and functionalities. Data from various sensors installed in school buildings are collected via a dedicated API, and distributed efficiently at a granularity of 15 minutes. Variables include temperature, humidity, VOC concentrations, PM_2.5 concentrations, CO₂ concentrations, energy consumption, and power consumption. Planned IAQ KPIs for the platform include Thermal Comfort, Ventilation, Pollutant, and Indoor Air Quality.
