The KPIs module aims to actively involve students, teachers, and administrators in enhancing indoor air quality (IAQ) and energy efficiency within school environments. It offers real-time insights into IAQ and energy consumption while emphasising the development, implementation, and visualisation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Users gain access to real-time data, historical trends, and benchmarking against other schools, facilitated by a user-friendly platform designed to engage diverse stakeholders. Different user types will have tailored permissions and functionalities. Data from various sensors installed in school buildings are collected via a dedicated API, and distributed efficiently at a granularity of 15 minutes. Variables include temperature, humidity, VOC concentrations, PM2.5 concentrations, CO2 concentrations, energy consumption, and power consumption. Planned IAQ KPIs for the platform include Thermal Comfort, Ventilation, Pollutant, and Indoor Air Quality.
